Yeah, the fact the Zelda got to adventure with you in Spirit Tracks was one of the things I loved about that game. I would argue she wasn't useless in OoT or WW either, though, what with her moments in the spotlight as Sheik and Tetra.
I really agree. Zelda was just some butt needed to be saved until I found out she con posses phantoms and do all sorts of stuff in one. I was very happy that she ACTUALLY knew how to swing a sword. Oh and question, I'm not sure if you know this but.. Is Link ambidextrous???? He keeps switching dominant hands hahaha!
OoT Zelda followed you around on your journey disguised as Sheik and taught you songs that were essential to your quest, and was only kidnapped around the very end (more out of tradition that anything else), and even then her magic was necessary in the final battle; I wouldn't call her a complete damsel in distress. Likewise Tetra was a pirate leader who knew more about adventuring than Link at the start of WW, and helped out in the final battle as well; she could handle a bow and probably a dagger as well. But I digress. Haha, I think it depends on which Link; the ones in the Wii games are right-handed, but he's usually left-handed. He seems to be ambidextrous in the early 2D games though, switching hands every time he faces the opposite direction due to how the sprite is mirrored. xD
Haha, yeah, Shiek/Zelda is one of my favorites in SSBB too. I don't practice Brawl enough, so I only have time to main one character (Toon Link), but Shiek/Zelda is one of the other characters I'd like to be able to play, along with Pokémon Trainer and Olimar. (Of those, I definitely find her easier to use. )
Thank you for letting me get that out of my system.
