A Laboratory Specimen

For ’s Draw Me a Pokémon event. This week’s Pokémon was Mewtwo and I felt like doodling something, so I did. (If I get chosen, I call out Blastoise.)

I’ve never been a major Mewtwo fan, but the sequence at the beginning of the first movie where it destroys the laboratory is pretty awesome. So this is supposed to be a scene from that, except it is a semi-lazy doodle so you can’t tell that the background is a laboratory. I mean, it could be, but it could also be a kitchenette, and for all we know this is what happens when Mewtwo tries to cook itself breakfast.

The original Pokémon movie will always be the best. I say this with certainty despite the fact that I have never seen the others. My logic for this is founded on nostalgia and is therefore infallible, because you know the stuff you grew up with will always be better than whatever drivel they’re selling kids nowadays.
